Marus Chisun

Is a veteran CS ranger, who sent as spy to Lazlo, but fell in love with it and its ideals. He is string advocate for Lazlo taking a more active role in the world. He has pushed for many years for Lazlo to have an army. Though he did not want the Xiticixs War, he supported it, as it finally gave Lazlo an army. He knew once the Xiticix conflict was over, Lazlo would have a large battle hardened army, which they couldn't simply abandon, after creating it. He fough actively in the CS/DQ conflict as a mercenary, trying to ensure that FQ stayed split from the CS. He sees it vitallly important that FQ and Ironheart are not part of CS, for the long term future of Lazlo. With the Great Lakes buffer against the other CS states, Lazlo would be in a fairly secure position against the CS.

With the CS/FQ war not quite having the results he wanted to see, he is currently trying to ensure there is conflict between Ironheart and FQ. Ironheart is not very pleased that FQ is back in the CS fold even after its betrayal, whereas they are lagging behind, after all their loyalty and what they have brought to the CS table. He will try to get FQ dissidents to help Kenorians to take on Ironheart. Marus Chisun was the one who pushed to accept nations who wanted to join Lazlo during CS/FQ wars in territories claimed by Ironheart/FQ. This is purely to show Lazlo's power, as well as get those nations to act against Lazlo, unilaterally without the backing of CS. These two states even combined are no match for Lazlo, though they have no idea of this. Most powers on Rifts Earth greatly underestimate Lazlo's power. It has an advantage over most nations on Rift North America of having a nation with United Borders and only claiming territory that it can defend and control. Lazlo has a lot of power; it just never uses it aggressively. Marus Chisun, is one of the few people who knows about the Vanguard, in fact he has personally killed two high level Vanguard operatives in Lazlo, and knows at least three others operating in Lazlo. He is feeding them false intelligence.

Marus Chisun knows many people in positions of power within CS, who are like minded and are trying to make the CS a better place from within, working behind the scenes without revealing their hand to the powers that be of the CS. He also knows many people in The Black Market, a powerful black market which runs all through the CS states. It is one of the few institutions in the CS states that is a threat to the current CS regime. The Prosek family and their allies have right surmised that some of their greatest opponent use The Black Market organisation as an aegis against them. Now that the CS wars have wound up, the CS will step up their actions against the Black Market gangs, but it will be focused on The Black Market. It is quite clear that who the various black market gangs support will decide the faith of the future of the CS, after the CS wars. This is the case in most nations on Rifts North America.

Marus Chisun will look to help those acting against the current CS set up, as well making the CS a better place for all. He also will help those that make Lazlo more powerful and put it in a stronger position. He does not have a lot of money, but knows many people, who know people, who know someone who can do something, especially if the right incentive is provided. He is interested in Intellignce on what CS is doing and when, as well as any knowledge which could be used to benefit Lazlo. It is important to note that Marus Chisun is an ultra careful man. He has obtained the position he has achieved because he is extremely good at what he does and is ultra careful at what he does. He never gets directly involved, usually works through intermediaries who don't even know that it is he, who they work for. He has an excellent network of information, which has numerous sources. Most of his information is of high quality as it is confirmed by various highly reliable sources.
