We eventually developed an idea we had for a Megaversal species into this species. A species that specializes in survival who created a galaxies spanning empire, only to run into the Mechnoids. Not only did they survive their conflict with the Mechanoids, they defeated them, but in the process they lost their own empire. Due to their obsession with survival against the Mechanoids, they forgot about the conquered worlds in their domain. Those species rose up against them and due to their conflict with the Mechanoids, they lost their empire. The survivors were scattered to the four corners of the Megaverse, as their war with the Mechanoids opened up the doorways to other dimensions and planes due to the trillions that died during their decades long war. They had been unaware that other dimensions even existed. This species loves a challenge, they are survivors and able to genetically adapt quickly to new and extremely hostile envrionments. A new Warlord has started to bring this scattered species together and once again they are on the look out for new and greater challenges. What effects will the world of Rifts Earth have on their natural adapting bodies? If they found Rifts Earth will they see its conquest as the ultimate challenge and will they succeed as they succeeded against the last challenge they viewed as such. What price will they pay this time for their survival?
